Site Prep

Excavation and site work

An essential pre-construction process such as removing trees, stumps, brush, rocks, and debris. Reshaping the terrain to create a proper surface for the project.

Erosion Control
Installing barriers, silt fences, sediment basins, and other means to keep soil from washing away during storms.
Land Clearing & Grading
Land clearing and grading is the essential first phase of site preparation that involves removing surface obstacles and reshaping the earth for stability and drainage. Tree, brush & stump removal, clearing rocks, logs, and organic waste to prepare for leveling, and drainage.

Roadwork Development/Site Prep

Excavating for water, sewer, and drainage lines require digging at specific depths for water lines to prevent freezing, and deeper for sewer and drainage lines to ensure proper gravity slope then backfilling and compaction.

Septic Systems
We install new septic systems and replace ones that have failed. The first step is to hire an engineer to draw plans for a new system and submit completed plans to your local building department for approval and signature. We will take those plans and build your system, coordinate mandatory inspections by the town and provide you with a Certificate of Compliance when done.

Asphalt and concrete services

Asphalt: Parking lots & roadway milling, paving and patching. Precision cold planing and surface prep for smooth transitions and durable resurfacing. Asphalt berm, base and top coats for fine finishes.

Concrete: flatwork, dumpster pads, sidewalks, curbs, ramps, and ADA-aware concrete improvements.

Milling & Resurfacing
Asphalt milling and resurfacing (overlay) is a cost-effective paving method that grinds off the damaged top layer of old pavement and replaces it with a fresh, durable course of hot-mix asphalt. A specialized milling machine with carbide teeth grinds away the top 1.5 to 3 inches of deteriorated asphalt. The ground asphalt is loaded directly into dump trucks to be 100% recycled. A tack coat (bonding material) is applied prior to paving the top course.
